Environment
Ash Grove Tree Surgery are environmentally aware. All our work is to a professional standard, as not to be detrimental to any tree we work on or the surrounding area.
Before we start any work we ensure there is no wild life depending on the tree or hedge. Birds nesting or evidence of bat activity is the most common we come across. It is an offence to disturb nesting birds and bats or to destroy an active nest.
If we find any wild life we will postpone the work and contact the appropriate authority.
Your waste is chipped and recycled. It is used on beds and
borders for weed suppression and moisture retention.
Sometimes it is used for decorative purposes on paths
or on agricultural land e.g. restoring muddy tracks and
field accesses.
Larger logs are seasoned and processed
for firewood. In some situations
e.g. woodlands or wood areas, logs can
be left on site for wildlife habitat.
